Here is a listing of the tools and inspirations I use to make Shelfleigh amazing.
When I was researching the best way to start a blog, I came across Abby’s inspiring book, Building a Framework: The Ultimate Blogging Handbook, at Just a Girl and Her Blog. Based off her recommendation, I choose to host my site with Bluehost. So far it’s been a great experience – quick customer service and an affordable rate.
FYI – They only offer live chat and phone call interactions. You are out of luck if you are looking to email them.
I love themes. In fact, I think I enjoy experimenting with themes more than I enjoy actually blogging. If I ever learn to create themes on my own, I may never stop! I fell in love with this simple, feminine theme from Studio Mommy. She has SO many great things on her website, it’s just best I only view it when I’ve recently been paid and have a little extra spending money.
My new best friend? The Ultimate Book Blogger plugin created by the wonderful Ashley at </nosegraze>. It’s a way to keep my book collection organized and searchable without me spending copious amounts of time on it. If you are a book blogger, it’s a life (and time) savor.
