I. Am. So. Tired. My professional life is a wonderful bag of mixed blessings. I’m leading so many interesting projects at work, but it’s leaving me with very little energy by the end of the day. My daughter and my husband take the rest of my reserves. This month I’m writing out some Small Goals. These goals will help me balance my time more effectively between my career, my family, and myself.
- Planking – I completed an eight week eating and training challenge this summer, loosing 10 pounds in the process. While I had every intention to continue working out and eating healthy, I didn’t. I’m planning another eight week training program at the beginning of 2018, but in the meantime I intend to plank 1 minute twice a day.
- Comment on Other Blogs – I actually read many blogs, but I rarely comment on them. I’m a bit shy. I’m hoping to at least comment on another person’s blog once per week.
- Take Breaks – This relates directly to my professional life. I am THE WORST at taking breaks at work. I tend to work on a project to completion, even if it takes a straight six hours. During my two fifteen minute breaks, I’ll see about planking and commenting on other blogs. 😛
